kilmainham gaol, the irish prison that dates back to 1796. by far the most interesting, exciting, and educational tour i had on my entire trip.

another view. we were only allowed on the first floor, but some of the cells were open to walk into. above some of the doors, the prisoners actually gave their cell a name.
