Two posts in one day? Unheard of on this site! I know! Blame the wind chill.
Anyway... tonight the aimless rambling of parshall.net introduces a new category: "Reasons I love the Internet," and this will likely have nothing to do with anything remotely related to what I've done over the last 12 years in my professional career in interactive media outside of the occasional work breaks (called "Full Friday Mode"). No, this is all about wasting time.

StumbleUpon is pure evil (damn you, Ryan Nagle, for
showing this to me). It's a virtual crap shoot of who knows what that
will show up next.
And tonight, I stumbledupon badassoftheweek.com. It got me hooked with this weeks bad ass, Nikola Tesla, but then as if that wasn't enough, the archives go back all the way to 2004 when it premiered with Darth Vader, and including such other bad asses like Al Capone, The Headless Horseman, Josey Wales, Australia, and the Watermelon Monster.
So cheers to the Badasses of the week, right up there with the Stephen Colbert's Difference Makers.
