Wrap-up of the three day music festival. At least the photos that came out (half of them I was so far away from the stage most of my pictures aren't worth lookin' at).
LCD Soundsystem came as close, if not closer, than any band has ever done in my lifetime to actually get me to start dancing while I was sober. And although I don't dance, even to LCD, I ran into Tim's girlfriend Megan who doesn't seem to have any problem with dancing, as you can see by the bouncing head here:
The Black Keys have more video cameramen on stage than actual members in the band.

And then there's this guy's hat...

Daft Punk - Sensory overload.

Saturday brought my first Beetle Bob sighting.

Roky Erikson & the Explosives

Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Juliette & The Licks. Well worth the sunburn. Shame she didn't go on later in the day & we wouldn't have to get there so early to see her.

Iggy & The Stooges. Possibly the best show of the weekend.

Iggy said: "Share the stage with the Stooges!" And boy did they.

Best sign of the weekend.

Hopefully coming soon, a little video of a fireworks show south of Grant Park with a very special soundtrack.
